A few words from Steve Gardner:

A great day at the Southern Cup. Well done to Paul Barette for putting on a great competition.

19 lifters competed on the three disciplines: kneeling Press, the 2 x 2 inch Vertical Bars, and the 2 inch bar Straddle Deadlift.

Lots of records were set and broken, everyone lifted really well.

The Overall Champion of Champions was presented with the ‘Southern Cup’ trophy:

Third: Beata Banas

The best junior title: Lara Bennett

The best open female: Kayliegh Lamb

The best female Master: Beata Banas

The best open male: Joshua Davidson
