Additional Records from the IAWA World Championships 4th & 5th October 2025 – Lurgan, Northern Ireland

Additional record attempts that took place at the IAWA World Championships have been confirmed as records, so we couldn’t let the moment pass without recognising these spectacular lifts.

Jude Meakin (44yrs 119kg) & Dolores McGuckin (50yrs 86.1kg)
successfully lifted 270kg in the Women’s Team Deadlift achieving Open & Masters 40+ World Records in the 120kg Class.

Stevie Shanks (62yrs 73.9kg) successfully lifted 255kg in the 2 x 1″ Vertical Bar lift achieving Open & masters 60+ World Records in the 75kg Class.
